In 2017, the DACOF Board introduced a special award to recognize individuals who demonstrate Outstanding Sportsmanship during our tournament weekend. While we all enjoy competing and striving for our best, the Board wanted a way to celebrate those moments that remind us that DACOF is about more than just trophies. ❤️
So many wonderful things happen throughout the weekend, and this award provides an opportunity to acknowledge, celebrate, and reward some of those meaningful acts.

If you see a competitor or worker demonstrate exceptional sportsmanship, kindness, generosity, encouragement, or support during the weekend, we encourage you to nominate them!
This is your opportunity to recognize someone from another Team who truly embodies the spirit of DACOF and good sportsmanship.

Nominations may not be made for members of your own Team.
Current DACOF Board Members are not eligible for nomination.
📝 Nomination Forms
Nomination forms will be included in competitor packets and will also be available at the scoring table.
📣 Throughout the weekend, announcements will be made reminding everyone to submit nominations when they witness acts of Outstanding Sportsmanship.
We intentionally do not provide a strict definition of "Outstanding Sportsmanship" because we trust you'll know it when you see it. 😊
⏰ Submission DeadlinePlease complete your nomination form and place it in the nomination box at the scoring table no later than NOON on Sunday. This allows the Board sufficient time to thoughtfully review all submissions and select the individual(s) who truly stood out.
🏅 Award PresentationThe Outstanding Sportsmanship Award(s) will be presented during the Closing Ceremony on Sunday.
