Subject: Parking Pass, Papa John’s Pizzas & Run-Thrus – Important DACOF Info!
Hello DACOF Members, Judges, Vendors & Guests,
DACOF is only two (2) weeks away!
As we approach the big weekend, we want to share a few important updates with you:
🚗 Parking Pass Info
Silver Spurs will be hosting other events again this year, the same weekend as DACOF in other buildings on the property.
Those events will have a $10 parking fee.
Attached is a DACOF Parking Pass for our Members, Judges, Vendors, and Participants. Please print it out and have it visible on your dashboard.
Without this pass, you may be charged the $10 parking fee.
· Please print out and bring a copy of the parking pass (or two) in case you or one of your Teammates may need one!
Timing Notes:
The other event’s “door time” is 10:00 AM, with parking attendants starting around 8:30 AM.
Most DACOF attendees will already be parked before this starts. However, if you leave the grounds and return after 8:30 AM, you’ll need your pass to avoid being charged.
Security Reminder:Silver Spurs expects 6,000+ attendees at the other events.
With that many outside visitors:
Please lock your cars and RVs.
Keep valuables out of plain sight in vehicles and in the crating areas.
Past DACOF events have unfortunately had reports of missing phones and valuables. Let’s all stay vigilant.
🍕 Papa Johns - Saturday Evening Pizza Update 🍕
We know that the quality of pizza over the past two years has been a terrible disappointment for many of our members. However, we learned today that Silver Spurs will be sourcing this year's personal pizzas directly from their new partner, Papa John's, which should result in a significant improvement over previous years.
In addition, we have been assured that the Catering Services Manager and Banquet Managers will be present on Saturday evening to oversee the process and help ensure the pizzas meet expectations.
We are still awaiting final details regarding pricing, ordering procedures, and timing, but we will share that information with members as soon as it becomes available.
We understand that some members may be hesitant after two consecutive years of disappointing pizza. However, with Silver Spurs now sourcing the pizzas through their new partnership with Papa John’s, we hope you'll consider giving the pizza option another chance this year.
Please remember that Silver Spurs permits only small personal food items (such as apples, bananas, yogurt, cheese sticks, etc.) in small coolers for discreet consumption.
🍕 If you're planning to stay for the Awards Ceremony and Membership Meeting, we encourage you to consider taking advantage of the pizza option for Saturday dinner.
After all, having pizza together at the awards ceremony makes it easier and more fun than trying to go out for a late dinner afterward!
