Subject: DACOF 2025 – Tentative Crating Assignments Now Available!
Hello DACOF Members!
PK Lichtenberger has completed the tentative crating assignments for DACOF 2025, and we’re excited to share them with you!
Attached you’ll find three PDFs:
1. Crating Assignment Details – This document includes Organization Names, Team Names, Crating Floor (1st or 2nd), approximate dimensions of each crating area, general location within the arena, and the number of dogs each Organization is bringing.
2. 1st Floor Crating Map – A schematic layout of all crating spaces assigned on the first floor.
3. 2nd Floor Crating Map – A schematic layout of crating spaces on the second floor.
A Few Important Notes:
🔹 These assignments are still tentative.
Silver Spurs may shift or store equipment in areas we typically use. If needed, crating spaces may be adjusted once we arrive Thursday. We’ll do our best to minimize changes, but please remain flexible.
🔹 Please wait to bring crates/decorations until Thursday afternoon (after ring setup and course building – and ONLY if you’ve helped!) If you’re helping with setup Thursday, we appreciate you!
or Friday morning when the building officially opens.
Holding Crates
🔹 PK has only received a few requests. If your team needs holding crate space in the North Lobby, email PK directly at:
Please include how many crates you need and if they’re for Big Dogs or Little Dogs to help PK make the best use of space.
Friendly Reminders:
🐾 First-floor crating space will be tight! Please be prepared to stack small dog crates and place crates side-by-side (without chairs between them) to maximize space.
🐾 Second-floor crating spaces come with plenty of arena seating! Great for spectating and relaxing.
PK’s Crating Etiquette Reminders:
1. Stay within your taped crating area – including CATCH decorations.
2. Plan to stack crates if necessary to fit within your designated space.
3. PLEASE remove blue tape designating crating spaces before leaving the arena Sunday!
4. Extra Holding/Transfer Crate areas will be designated as needed.
5. If you experience any crate-related issues, please reach out to PK directly:📞 727-420-0800📍 Or visit the Dog Training Club of St. Pete table in the NW Concession Area (by Section 212).
On behalf of the entire DACOF Committee, huge thanks to PK and the Dog Training Club of St. Pete for all the time and effort it takes to assign and layout the crating spaces!
We look forward to seeing you soon!
Best Regards, Bill, Kathy, Jen, Erica, Ashley
And our Crating Chairperson, PK Lichtenberger
